Physiotherapy and Sports and Remedial Massage
Joe is a fully qualified Physiotherapist and a member of The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). In addition to his physiotherapy degree he also has a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage.
He specialises in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries including but not limited to neck and back pains, Arthritis, postural dysfunction, sports related injuries, motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries.
He believes in a very personalized approach and constructs his treatment plans to be specifically tailored to the client’s needs and goals (short term and long term). His treatments include a combination of sports massage, soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques along with therapeutic exercises, with a special emphasis on patient education and activity modification. This integrative approach allows Joe to provide the highest quality of care.
He has worked with pro and semi-pro athletes at various sporting events including London Marathon, London Triathlon and many running and cycling competitions. He has also gained his experience by working with the top English Premier League footballers.
Aleksandra is a massage therapist with a diploma awarded by Medical Massage School in Poland which is equivalent to UK NVQ level 4. As a part of her training she provided medical massage to hospital patients suffering from various acute and chronic medical conditions.
Aleksandra excels at utilizing a collaborative approach by combining patient goals and preferences and her professional expertise in delivering a safe and effective individualized treatment.
Aleksandra’s arsenal of massage techniques and treatments includes Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage massage and anticellulite massage.
Ewa graduated from University Of Physical Education in Poznań (Poland) in 2007 with a Master's degree in physiotherapy. She has always been passionate about massage and in addition to her physio degree she decided to develop her massage skills further.
She has completed Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage courses. In 2009, Ewa was awarded a VTCT Certificate in Holistic Therapy and Indian Head massage and is a Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
She believes that alternative therapies can help to relieve stress and strain of our busy lives and to restore the body’s natural harmony.
